history

This turned out to be a really fun project.

I wanted some inspiration, direction and help, so I contacted a good friend of mine since college, Michael Lee, a world famous architect and designer to the stars.

The courtyard, along with the Drake, was a collaboration with renown landscape designer Robert Bellamy. His style is whimsical and by using old artifacts, old columns and vintage ceramics, created unique and one of a kind retaining walls for the raised flower beds.

What’s outdoors:

A historical landmark with 1930’s art deco curb appeal

A designer courtyard adorned with a life-sized bronze sculpture, a warm wood burning fireplace and a private cabana with a glamorous chandelier

Vibrant outdoor dining area

Beautiful views of a natural paradise

WHAT’S INDOORS:

Elegant hardwood floors throughout

Stylish chandeliers with 1930’s character, double French doors

Double French doors that lead to the outdoor courtyard oasis

An open kitchen outfitted with modern features including mosaic and ceramic tile countertops

and so much more!
